PBIS

The focus of the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) program at Pleasant Valley Elementary is to set behavioral expectations for students, teach students the importance of good behavior, support students as they work to develop good behavior, and acknowledge when great choices are being made! Pleasant Valley has four key expectations for each and every student from Pre-K through 5th grade. All students are expected to RISE by being RESPECTFUL, INDEPENDENT, SAFE, and ENGAGED. Students earn EAGLE BUCKS when they demonstrate these characteristics and have the chance to attend our monthly PBIS celebrations.
Pleasant Valley has earned PBIS “Gold Status” two years in a row because our students know and “live” RISE every day. Our teachers and staff work very hard to support our students in being their best in all settings and we strive to have a safe, engaging learning environment.
